QALL Summer Baseball Camp

The QALL Baseball Camp prepares players for the QALL AA league which introduces kid pitching.

Requirements:

  • Be able to catch a baseball.
  • Must have played a season in QALL's A league or equivalent, or be at least a league-age 8 with no previous baseball experience. (Note: new players up to age 10 have happily participated in years past.)
  • Open to both boys and girls who live in Queen Anne or Denny Regrade or Lower Lake Union neighborhoods, or who go to school in Queen Anne.
  • Enrollment is limited to 25, first come first served.

There will be 8 evening sessions, two per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) from 5:45-8PM at the IBS baseball field beginning Thursday June 29 and ending Thursday July 27. (There will be no session on the 4th of July.) Each session will include skill-building activities plus at least an hour of playing baseball.

There is no requirement to attend every session although players are encouraged to attend as many as possible (in order to build on concepts presented in previous sessions).

The program is supervised by Paul Lepley, long-time QALL coach and director of Minor Leagues. Adults are encouraged to participate as coaching assistants or general helpers.

Registration is open at  the QALL.org website. Registration fee is $50. (Scholarships are available in case of financial hardship.)

For additional information, contact Paul Lepley at or 206-284-3994 (phone, no text).
